Does MultiVersus have cross-play and cross-progression?

Yes. MultiVersus has full cross-play and cross-progression support across all available platforms.

Does MultiVersus have rollback netcode?

Yes. MultiVersus has deterministic rollback netcode to support online gameplay.

What is Gleamium in MultiVersus?

Gleamium is an optional type of in-game currency in MultiVersus that can be earned in-game or purchased with real money through the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Epic Games) online stores. Gleamium can be used to unlock different types of optional in-game content, including characters, character variants (skins), and cosmetic items. Purchasing Gleamium is optional and not required to enjoy any modes in the game or to gain any competitive advantage.

Do players need to purchase Gleamium to unlock characters in MultiVersus?

All characters can eventually be earned through gameplay.

Does MultiVersus have a Battle Pass?

Yes. MultiVersus Battle Passes allow players to complete challenges and earn in-game rewards. There are free tiers open to all players and premium tiers available for players to purchase via the Premium Battle Pass. A new Battle Pass will be available at the start of each new season of content.

Are items earned from a MultiVersus Battle Pass exclusive?

Items earned from a MultiVersus Battle Pass are not exclusive. There may be opportunities to earn some of these items in the game at a later date.

Is MultiVersus available for download?

Although access to the MultiVersus Open Beta was temporarily removed from digital storefronts on April 4, 2023, the game has now officially launched and is available for download.

If players delete MultiVersus, will they be able to reinstall the game after April 4, 2023?

For players who downloaded the game before April 4, 2023, they are currently able to re-download MultiVersus to their system.

What happens to previously earned or purchased in-game content from the MultiVersus Open Beta?

Content earned or purchased before June 25, 2023, including unused Gleamium, Battle Pass tokens, character tokens, and any other in-game cosmetics, is still available and can be used in the same way. However, Gold will no longer be available in the game. We will be providing cosmetics in its place for Gold earned during the Open Beta.

Does progress and content earned after June 25, 2023, carry over to the MultiVersus launch?

Progress and content earned during the downtime period between June 25, 2023, and May 28, 2024 (launch), does not carry over to launch, since the game was offline.

Will refunds be available for previously purchased content?

The MultiVersus Open Beta closure does not change any current refund policies or terms offered by the storefront(s) from which Founder’s Packs or Gleamium bundles were purchased. However, content earned or purchased before June 25, 2023, will carry over to the MultiVersus launch. For more information, please visit the customer support pages for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games. Additionally, refunds are not available as a result of the Open Beta closure.

What changes have been implemented as part of the MultiVersus launch?

A variety of areas have been improved upon and updated, including the addition of new characters, maps and modes; netcode and matchmaking improvements; progression system updates; and much more.

What is Crossplay in MultiVersus?

Crossplay allows players on all supported platforms to matchmake in MultiVersus across multiple platforms (PC, PlayStation, Xbox).

What platforms support Crossplay in MultiVersus?

Crossplay and Cross-Progression are supported for MultiVersus on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

Is a WB Games Account required to enjoy Crossplay and Cross-Progression for MultiVersus?

A WB Games Account is required to utilize the MultiVersus Crossplay features and to share MultiVersus content and progression between supported platforms.

How does Crossplay work in MultiVersus?

Crossplay is an optional feature that is included in MultiVersus for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Crossplay feature can be toggled on by going to [Main Menu > Settings > Online > Enable Crossplay].

How do players manage their WB Games Account friends list for Crossplay in MultiVersus?

Players can add friends through their WB Games Account friends list in-game accessed via the Online Social menu. They can also manage their WB Games Account friends by clicking here.

How do players create a WB Games Account?

Players can visit the WB Games Account website to create an account.

How do players reset their WB Games Account password?

Players can visit this link to reset their password. If they are still unable to access their account after resetting their password, players can also click here to submit a support ticket.

How do players link their WB Games Account in MultiVersus?

Players can visit the Connection page on the WB Games Account site and link the console or PC platform that they are playing MultiVersus on.

If a player unlinks the platform account they are using to play MultiVersus and links it to a different WB Games Account, but does not have their previous progress, can it be restored?

The original MultiVersus data is still tied to the previous WB Games Account and can be accessed by linking a platform account with access to MultiVersus back to it. Please note, there are limitations for unlinking and relinking platform accounts, and if a WB Games Account is deleted, the game data tied to it will also be lost as it cannot be transferred to a different WB Games Account.
